We celebrated a full day without rain Sunday with a family walk up the Key Peninsula Highway.

Just me, my Lovely Bride and the Goofy Golden Doodle in her favorite pink harness.

The sun broke through the heavy morning clouds, the mottled shadows of November paving our way.

We got back on Drayton passage to screaming eagles fluttering high above the Douglas fir tops. Multiple pairs of birds fought each other for a desirable perch, with white cotton ball clouds flitting by.

Temperatures hovered comfortably in the 40s, patches of blue skies teasing us all afternoon.

Rain is once again in the forecast today through Wednesday, with a high wind watch for Tuesday.

Stay dry out there.

Good morning Longbranch.
