A Blackbird’s Balancing Act in Longbranch

Laying in bed, we listened to the rhythm of the rain on a blustery Saturday morning.

The blackbirds’ screechy song filled the damp heavy air. It looks like it should be colder than 55 degrees. According to the weather geeks the rain will stick around until Monday, when the forecast calls for a bit of sunshine.

We got up and went for a soggy walk up our road. The goofy golden doodle loved it. The lovely bride and I enjoyed the fresh air, glad for the weekend after a long week in the office.

Good morning Longbranch.
