Colder and definitely dark.
That is what autumn mornings are to me.
My lovely bride jumps a season and declared “winter is here.”
She may be on to something.
First things first: Have you changed your clocks back? Good.
Secondly, the goofy golden doodle is no fan of the dark, not even when nature calls. There doesn’t seem to be anything I can do to assuage her fears short of coaxing the sun to shine.
That is the next thing. Sunrise was not until 6:57 this morning.
Yet the worst part is still to come. Sunset is at 4:51 p.m. today, over an hour before I even think about driving home. Brutal.
Oh well. Winter must be here.
Here is an interesting piece on why Daylight Savings time is a fraud: http://www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/2013/11/daylight-saving-time-americas-greatest-shame/354753/?single_page=true
It is currently 53 degrees and damp. According to the weather geeks’ forecast, our high may not be any warmer than that. Also, expect rain through the week. We won’t see much of our sun until this weekend, if at all.
Good morning Longbranch.
