Smoke Before the Fourth of July on the Key Peninsula

My commute home yesterday was made interesting by all the smoke from the engine of an ailing mini van. The fumes made for dramatic sunlight bursts through the trees on State Route 302.

Good morning Longbranch.

This Fourth of July week is shaping up to be a nice one.

The morning clouds ought to lift by the afternoon, just like yesterday. It is a gray morning on Drayton’s Passage. It is currently 58 degrees and the weather geeks say our high today will be in the high 70s.

Get the hotdogs, burgers and fireworks ready for tomorrow. Just be safe and healthy Longbranch.
