The dawn’s early light was simply spectacular on our side of the Key Peninsula.
The band of magenta and gold expanded across the horizon behind McNeil and Anderson islands, illuminating the low clouds and Mount Rainier. A gentle breeze roused the young maple leaves just outside our window. The birds calling out another boisterous morning. I believe this is why we live on the Peninsula.
We will begin to cool off today, according to the weather geeks. The high will be somewhere in the mid 80s.
Good morning Longbranch.
