I left the house early this morning in the crisp chill of a coming autumn as the coyotes howled at the full moon.
Dark, misty and I had the Key Peninsula Highway all to myself. The bright moon peeking through the thinning foliage of old maples and alders gave my commute a picturesque frame.
It is currently 48 degrees and wispy fog is hugging the contours of a sleeping Kaukiki Farm — only the protests of a barking farm dog breaking the silence.
Another day in paradise and I am headed to town.
Good morning Longbranch.
