Rain on the Key Peninsula; feels like fall

Slivers of sunshine broke through the early morning rain on Drayton Passage today.
If my windshield is any indication, the rain was robust and unrelenting early this morning.

Good morning Longbranch.

It was refreshing waking up to the rhythmic drumming of rain this morning. My lovely bride wondered out loud yesterday when the rain would start. Well, sweetheart, here comes the rain.

It is currently 61 degrees out there and the weather geeks are forecasting a high of 75. Rain will continue through the day with a bit of thunder and lightning. The wet weather will prevail through the rest of the week, another sign the season is changing.

You could not ask for a more pleasant weekend than the one we just enjoyed. It was hot, clear and Drayton Passage was buzzing with boat activity.
