Good morning Longbranch.
It is calm and wet on our end of the peninsula. I would imagine it is much of the same for most of Western Washington. The weather geeks are saying our high today will not be as warm as yesterday — only 66 degrees.
It is currently 55 degrees and the ground is wet. Our rain came later last night after that show of dramatic clouds just after sundown. On Drayton’s Passage, the sky looked like a computer-generated backdrop. i was half expecting spaceships to burst through the rolling clouds.
“Look! That sky is unreal,” said my lovely bride.
Right she was. But as quickly as the clouds and bursts of red and pink materialized, it was gone.
