The sun is trying its best to come out. Slivers of sunshine are pouring out of the thin sheets of clouds above, casting bright shadows on our deck.
The unmistakable hum of a working tugboat calls attention to the water highway in our backyard. It is pulling a pregnant load of dirt. To where? I do not know.
This I do know: It is not a bad day to be outside.
