It was a calm gray morning at the Longbranch Marina. Except for a couple of gulls, not much was stirring at the mouth of Filucy Bay. The low clouds covered the sun and the lack of wind made the water surface glassy. Rainier was nowhere in sight, waiting for the day to clear up to make an appearance.
But even in dark days when the stubborn clouds seem to snuff out the sun’s glow, the beauty of the Key Peninsula shines through. So grab another cup of java and cozy up on your couch. Happy Friday y’all.
