Has spring sprung?

Daffodils blooming is a sure sign of spring.
When this stubborn fog lifts we may actually see the sun.
Ah, the mallards. The racket they make is getting drowned out by the songs of the robins and other birds ushering in a new season.

The daffodils are beginning to bloom, the mallards are pairing up and it is getting lighter out much earlier. Ahhh, spring must be here.

The official first day of spring is March 20 when the vernal equinox occurs at 7:02 a.m. According to almanac.com the word equinox is derived from the Latin words meaning “equal night.” Days and nights are approximately equal everywhere and the sun rises and sets due east and west.

In the meantime, stay warm and enjoy the changing of the season.
